Dear readers: My sister in spirit, Lady Whistledown, has made waves in her ton with her collection of the latest news regarding the notables in her community. At her urging, I have been persuaded to launch an electronic newsletter -- supply chain issues and publishing costs being what they are today -- to accomplish much the same for the people of our ton on Amnicola Highway. Duchess Amnicola is my pen name, and in this newsletter, I shall endeavor to provide semi-regular updates on the goings-on of our world. To do so is not without its risks; our rules are only occasionally benevolent when it comes to dissent in the ranks.
